Who operates the service
Matrimonial Website Maker (MWMaker) operates the MWMaker Android app, the mwmaker.in platform and the websites created through it. In this policy, “we”, “our” and “MWMaker” refer to this service operator.
Information we collect
- Business owner details such as full name, mobile number, business email, brand name, city and website settings.
- Member details submitted to a generated matrimonial website, including identity, contact, demographic, profile and partner-preference information.
- Account authentication records, security logs, interests, shortlist activity, subscription and payment records.
- Technical information needed for security and reliable operation, such as IP address, timestamps and error records.
How information is used
We use information to create and operate branded matrimonial websites, authenticate accounts, display approved profiles, enable searches and interests, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Visibility and sharing
Approved member profile information may appear on the applicable business website according to its privacy settings. Mobile numbers, surnames and photographs may be restricted. We may use service providers for hosting, security, communications or payments under appropriate safeguards, and may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users.
Security
MWMaker uses encrypted HTTPS connections, password hashing, access controls, request limits and activity logging. The Android app encrypts the saved owner session using the Android Keystore and excludes app data from device and cloud backups. No system can guarantee absolute security; users should protect passwords and report suspicious activity promptly.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only while needed for the service, security, dispute resolution and applicable legal or financial recordkeeping. A verified account-deletion request removes the account and associated user data, except limited records that must be retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment reconciliation or proof of the deletion request. Retained records are restricted and deleted when the applicable period ends.
Payment processing
When you open checkout, Razorpay acts as our payment processor and may process contact details supplied to checkout, payment information, purchase history, checkout interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers to complete payments, prevent fraud and provide support. MWMaker does not receive or store your complete card number, UPI PIN or banking password.
Business owners can request deletion inside the Android app or through our external account-deletion page. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will explain if lawful retention or additional verification is required.
Children and safety
MWMaker is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, trafficking, sexualization of minors and child sexual abuse material are strictly prohibited. Reports are reviewed and handled under our published safety standards and applicable law.
Your choices
You may access and correct account information, control website privacy settings, withdraw optional profile information, contact us about data handling or request account deletion. Business owners are responsible for responding lawfully to member privacy requests for their generated website.
